4. Namikaze Minato (Edo Tensei)

During the Fourth Great Shinobi War, Obito transformed into the Jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails. The Hokage from the First to the Third generation tried to attack him to analyze his abilities and movements in that form.

When Minato saw that Obito was still struggling to control the Ten-Tails’ power, he attempted to take advantage of the situation to defeat him. Minato launched an attack by slashing at Obito with his kunai. However, Obito was able to block the strike using a Truth-Seeking Orb staff and even broke Minato’s kunai. Obito then retaliated by slashing at Minato with the Truth-Seeking Orb, severing Minato’s right arm.

Although Minato was in his Edo Tensei form, his severed arm could not regenerate as it normally would. The Second Hokage warned Minato to avoid being hit by the Truth-Seeking Orb again. Tobirama suspected that Obito’s jutsu was based on Yin-Yang Release, capable of nullifying all Ninjutsu.

In other words, if an Edo Tensei body part was destroyed by the Truth-Seeking Orb, it would not regenerate, and the Edo Tensei user could truly die. Tobirama advised Minato to accept the fact that his right arm was lost forever.

Minato did not just lose one arm but eventually lost both due to the Truth-Seeking Orb’s attacks.

At that time, Madara attempted to sway Obito, who had betrayed him, to rejoin his cause. Madara claimed that the world created by the Sage of Six Paths had failed. He argued that chakra, originally taught by the Sage of Six Paths as a tool for peace, had been corrupted into a weapon of destruction.

According to Madara, the current practice of chakra contradicted Kaguya’s original philosophy, which sought peace through the Infinite Tsukuyomi. With great conviction, Madara tried to persuade Obito to align with him once more and lead humanity into the Infinite Tsukuyomi to “save the world.”

As Obito began slowly walking toward Madara, Kakashi and Gaara sprang into action to stop him. Kakashi prepared to use Kamui, while Gaara readied a massive sand wall using his Sabakuha technique to block Obito’s path.

At the same time, Minato threw a kunai near Madara’s feet and teleported to that location, ready to strike Madara with a Rasengan. However, Madara reacted swiftly and slashed at Minato with the Truth-Seeking Orb. The slash struck Minato’s left arm holding the Rasengan, severing it instantly.

Minato lost both arms in this battle, demonstrating the overwhelming and lethal power of the Truth-Seeking Orbs wielded by Obito and Madara.
