8. Mirio Togata Lost His Quirk While Protecting Eri

Lemillion saw Eri as an incredibly kind girl because, despite her immense fear, she chose to return to Chisaki and endure a life of torment to prevent Lemillion and Deku from being harmed during their hero patrol.

Thinking about this, Lemillion felt miserable and viewed himself as cruel for failing to protect a little girl. Therefore, during the mission to raid the Shie Hassaikai hideout and rescue Eri, Lemillion resolved to save her no matter what.

After overcoming various obstacles, Lemillion finally succeeded in taking Eri away from Chisaki. Lemillion remained cautious of Chrono, Chisaki’s assistant, as he did not want to end up on the list of those who had lost their Quirks.

Chrono fired a Quirk-erasing bullet toward Lemillion and Eri. However, Lemillion managed to evade it by covering both himself and Eri with his hero cape. He then delivered a powerful kick that sent Chrono flying and knocked him out.

Lemillion then began pummeling Chisaki while declaring that he was stronger than him. However, in the heat of the battle, Lemillion failed to notice that Nemoto, who had previously been knocked unconscious, had regained consciousness.

Chisaki tossed a box of Quirk-erasing bullets to Nemoto. Since there was only one bullet left, Nemoto hesitated to shoot directly at Lemillion, knowing that Lemillion’s Permeation Quirk could easily avoid the shot.

Nemoto then resorted to a dirty trick by using Eri as bait and fired the bullet at her. Just as Nemoto had anticipated, Lemillion moved to shield Eri, taking the shot himself. As a result, Lemillion lost his Quirk because he chose to protect Eri with his own body.

Although Lemillion lost his Quirk after that incident, fans can breathe a sigh of relief. In the manga, it is revealed that Lemillion’s Quirk was restored thanks to Eri’s Rewind Quirk.
