7. Itachi Uchiha vs Sasuke Uchiha
The Akatsuki assigned Kisame and Itachi the mission to capture Naruto in the Hidden Leaf Village. After infiltrating the village, Itachi and Kisame finally located Naruto. However, Sasuke, who had also discovered that his brother was in the village, managed to track down Itachi and Kisame just as they were attempting to kidnap Naruto.
Upon seeing Itachi standing right before his eyes, Sasuke was consumed with rage and an overwhelming desire to exact his revenge and hatred toward Itachi. Sasuke’s sole purpose in life was to defeat his older brother.
Sasuke prepared his Chidori Jutsu and charged at Itachi. However, Itachi effortlessly stopped Sasuke’s Chidori attack with just one hand. Then, Itachi clenched Sasuke’s hand tightly, causing Sasuke to cry out in pain before collapsing and falling to the floor.
At that moment, Jiraiya suddenly appeared to save Naruto from Kisame’s Samehada blade. Jiraiya declared that he would defeat both Itachi and Kisame to protect Naruto. However, Sasuke pleaded with Naruto and Jiraiya not to interfere in his fight against Itachi.
Despite lying on the floor moments earlier, Sasuke forced himself to stand and challenged Itachi to another battle. However, Itachi mercilessly overpowered Sasuke, beating him down without hesitation.
In the end, Itachi used the Tsukuyomi Genjutsu on Sasuke. As a result, Sasuke was once again forced to relive the most painful trauma of his life. He witnessed the Uchiha massacre all over again for what felt like 24 hours, leaving his mental state shattered and his body utterly helpless. His quest for revenge had failed. Sasuke suffered a broken arm, fractured ribs, and severe psychological shock.
