Yaga, a teacher from Jujutsu High Tokyo, assigned Gojo and Geto to carry out a mission to escort the Star Plasma Vessel, Riko Amanai, and deliver her to Master Tengen to become Tengen’s new vessel.
If Gojo and Geto failed to renew Master Tengen’s body, Tengen would evolve and gain a new consciousness, erasing all of his former memories. He would also transform from a human into a cursed spirit. This could trigger widespread disasters if Master Tengen’s powers spiraled out of control.
However, this mission was far from simple. Two organizations sought to eliminate the Star Plasma Vessel.
The first was Organization Q, which aimed to disrupt the Jujutsu world by killing Riko Amanai, thereby preventing her from becoming Master Tengen’s vessel.
The second was the Star Religious Group, comprised of worshipers of Master Tengen who believed that merging Tengen with a Star Plasma Vessel tainted Tengen’s purity.
Although Gojo and Geto easily defeated Organization Q’s strongest fighters sent to kill Riko Amanai, they underestimated the Star Religious Group, believing them to be non-combatants with no Jujutsu skills.
Unbeknownst to Gojo and Geto, the Star Religious Group had hired a sorcerer assassin—Toji Fushiguro—to eliminate both of them and assassinate Riko Amanai. Toji’s goal was to deliver Riko Amanai’s corpse to the Star Religious Group.
Here are the three strategies Toji used to defeat Gojo Satoru:
1. Toji Fushiguro Was Highly Cautious of Gojo Satoru’s Abilities
In the past, driven by curiosity about the child with the Six Eyes from the Gojo clan, Toji decided to observe young Gojo Satoru in person. He watched as young Gojo walked accompanied by his caretaker. However, Toji was stunned when Gojo suddenly turned around and stared directly at him. Toji was astonished because Gojo was the first and only person who could sense his presence while he was standing behind them.
For that reason, when his colleague expressed confusion about why Toji was calmly gambling despite being tasked with eliminating Riko Amanai, Toji explained that he had to be extremely cautious if he ever intended to fight the heir of the Gojo clan. Toji knew that Gojo was an incredibly powerful individual, so he needed to prepare thoroughly if he wanted to defeat him.
