4. Nanafushi Imitating Guy
This story begins when Guy hears from Naruto that Lee is building a dojo to improve his fighting skills. Guy feels incredibly proud and happy to hear that his beloved student has built a dojo while he was away on a mission outside the village.
However, Naruto also informs Guy that there is a problem with Lee’s dojo—there are no challengers coming to fight. To help Lee, Guy decides to disguise himself using a curly wig and a thick mustache, pretending to be a challenger at Lee’s dojo. But before his plan could be carried out, Tsunade summons Guy for an urgent mission and sends him to assist Shikamaru’s team.
Meanwhile, from the treetops, a spy named Nanafushi observes Konoha Village through binoculars. He notices Guy leaving the village and takes this opportunity to disguise himself as Guy using Henge no Jutsu, intending to gather classified information from Konoha. Disguised as Guy, Nanafushi unwittingly follows Naruto to Lee’s dojo, where he becomes the first challenger—and ends up being beaten to a pulp by Lee.
Not wanting to get further caught up in the mess, Nanafushi ends his disguise as Guy. He then uses Henge no Jutsu again to transform into Lee, planning to leave the dojo and continue his reconnaissance. However, shortly after, the real Guy, having just completed his mission, arrives at the dojo and immediately challenges Nanafushi, still disguised as Lee. Guy then pummels Nanafushi without holding back.
In the end, Nanafushi’s disguise is exposed. Naruto, Lee, and Guy, now carrying a beaten-up Nanafushi, take the intruder to the Hokage’s office. Upon seeing them arrive, Tsunade immediately comments that it is a coincidence since she was just about to summon them to capture a spy from Tanima no Kuni, who turns out to be Nanafushi.
Naruto, Lee, and Guy quickly confirm that the person Guy is carrying is indeed Nanafushi, exactly as shown on the wanted poster Tsunade had just displayed.
