4. Denji Scolds Power for Behavior That Could Jeopardize the Mission
When the newly reformed Division 4 was tasked with capturing Katana Man and Akane, they were warned that failing the mission would result in the division being disbanded. This meant that Denji and Power risked losing their jobs as Devil Hunters.
During the mission, Denji grew uneasy with Power’s behavior as she casually ate pieces of zombie hands while riding the elevator. To Power, meat was meat, whether it came from animals or humans. Seeing her behavior, Denji immediately scolded her, reminding her that their mission was to capture Katana Man, not to feast on zombie flesh. He also warned Power not to even think about eating Katana Man after they caught him.
Denji’s frustration toward Power was justified, considering her habit of indiscriminately consuming any type of meat. If Power recklessly decided to eat Katana Man, it wouldn’t just cost them their jobs as Devil Hunters—it could also lead to them being hunted down as devils by their mentor, Kishibe, who was known for his strictness and zero tolerance for such misconduct.
