The fierce battle between two Devil Hybrids, Chainsaw Man and Katana Man, became an epic showdown that marked the grand finale of Chainsaw Man Season 1.

After his defeat in their first encounter, Denji underwent intense training to prepare for his second fight against Katana Man. Although Katana Man remained a formidable opponent, Denji’s training paid off, and he emerged victorious in a dramatic rematch.

This second battle was even more intense than the first, filled with high-stakes moments that kept everyone on edge. However, in the end, Chainsaw Man managed to defeat Katana Man. Here is the story of how Chainsaw Man avenged his loss and triumphed over his powerful rival, Katana Man.

Here Are 4 Stages of Chainsaw Man’s Victory Over Katana Man:

1. Denji Became Stronger Thanks to Kishibe’s Training

As the number one strongest Devil Hunter, Kishibe told Denji and Power that if they could defeat him during training, they would be capable of becoming the strongest Devils. Even though this was Kishibe’s first time training Devils, he knew the right method to make Denji and Power significantly stronger.

Knowing that Devils aren’t protected by human rights regulations and can recover simply by drinking blood, Kishibe took advantage of this to brutally beat Denji and Power as he pleased. As a result, during the first day of training, Denji and Power repeatedly came close to death.

The training was so intense that they both experienced severe mental exhaustion; Denji temporarily lost his sanity and screamed aimlessly, while Power considered running away because she couldn’t endure the harsh training anymore.

After returning home at night, following a full day of brutal combat training with Kishibe, Power and Denji realized one important thing: they couldn’t defeat Kishibe by relying solely on brute strength. Kishibe was too powerful to be taken down physically without a well-thought-out strategy.

Eventually, they agreed to use their wits and strategies to face Kishibe. They began brainstorming clever tactics that could give them a chance at victory.

As a mentor, Kishibe played a significant role in teaching Denji and Power the importance of using their minds in battle, especially when facing enemies far stronger than themselves. He taught them not to pour all their effort solely into raw physical strength but to devise smart strategies that could turn the tide in their favor, particularly when up against overwhelmingly powerful opponents.
