4. Chainsaw Man vs. Katana Man: Denji Loses the Fight
While Denji was unconscious from the bullet wound to his forehead, Himeno made her final sacrifice. Though she lost her life in the battle against Sawatari Akane, Himeno’s ghostly devil hand managed to pull the cord on Denji’s chest, waking him up and transforming him into Chainsaw Man.
In his Chainsaw Man form, Denji expressed how much he enjoyed fighting evil people. He felt no guilt or fear of judgment when using brutal force to take down Katana Man.
The battle began as Chainsaw Man and Katana Man clashed with full force. Chainsaw Man’s saws collided with Katana Man’s blades, causing sparks to fly. Chainsaw Man landed a punch with his chainsaw arm, hitting Katana Man’s body. However, Katana Man retaliated with a sword slash that sent Chainsaw Man flying.
The intensity heightened when two of Katana Man’s henchmen fired their pistols at Chainsaw Man. However, Chainsaw Man swiftly defeated them. The main battle resumed as Chainsaw Man’s chainsaws clashed once more with Katana Man’s blades. This time, Chainsaw Man suffered severe wounds from his opponent’s slashes.
In a bold move, Chainsaw Man took one of Katana Man’s henchmen hostage, threatening to tear the man apart if Katana Man made any sudden moves. Seeing this, Katana Man crouched down as if surrendering, making Chainsaw Man believe that Katana Man cared about the life of his subordinate.
However, Katana Man was merely preparing for a devastating final strike. In one swift motion, Katana Man unleashed a lethal slash, cutting through Chainsaw Man and his hostage. With Chainsaw Man utterly defeated and unconscious, Katana Man ordered his remaining men to carry away Chainsaw Man’s severed body.
#4 The fourth reason Chainsaw Man lost to Katana Man:
Denji was too naive as a Devil Hunter. He assumed that Katana Man cared about the safety of his subordinates, failing to realize that Katana Man was a ruthless villain willing to do anything to defeat his enemies.
