2. Sensitive to Students’ Comments

The incident began when Shino organized a welcoming party for Mitsuki as a new student. The atmosphere was lively, with plenty of food and dancing dolls.

However, Namida, who attempted to hug one of the dolls, accidentally disturbed the insects inside it. As a result, a swarm of insects went berserk, turning the festive party into chaos.

Mitsuki quickly took action, using the Jutsu Fuuton: Toppa to drive away the insects. However, the blast of wind from the jutsu ended up hitting the construction workers who were repairing the school building.

When Shino apologized profusely to the workers for Mitsuki’s actions, Mitsuki seemed puzzled by Shino’s excessive apology. This led the students to start discussing Shino.

Mitsuki and Sarada’s conversation:

Mitsuki: “What’s wrong with him?”

Sarada: “Don’t call him ‘him.’ After all, he’s our teacher. Don’t you know that?”

Mitsuki: “Is there really anything he can teach us?”

Boruto and Inojin’s conversation:

Inojin: “Even so, he was once an amazing ninja, you know.”

Boruto: “Yeah, but compared to the other teachers, he’s not that reliable. His presence feels weak.”

Inojin: “Actually, his ominous aura feels much stronger.”

These remarks from the students deeply hurt Shino’s feelings. As a result, Shino decided to cancel his class, citing that he wasn’t feeling well. The teachers in the academy’s office were baffled to see Shino suddenly looking gloomy and surrounded by a dark, depressing aura.
