3. Kakashi Arrives Late Before Starting a Mission

After Team 7 completed their mission of escorting Tazuna to build a bridge in the Land of Waves, they received a new mission. However, because Kakashi had not yet arrived at the designated meeting point, the mission’s departure had to be postponed.

They waited so long that Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura began to feel drowsy and almost fell asleep. After what felt like an eternity, Kakashi finally appeared in front of Team 7 with a smile on his face. He greeted his team members, who had patiently waited for his arrival.

Kakashi then gave his excuse for being late, claiming that he had gotten lost. Although Team 7 tried to be understanding about his delay, Naruto and Sakura still felt annoyed—especially since Kakashi’s excuse sounded like a joke, and he seemed far too relaxed despite his lateness.
