For Boruto, before his father became Hokage, Naruto always had time for him and Himawari. However, ever since Naruto took on the role of Hokage, it seemed like all his attention was directed at his work. Due to his position as Hokage, Naruto rarely came home and hardly ever had time for his family.
Boruto often demanded that his father spend more time with the family, but Naruto couldn’t fulfill that request. Naruto was too busy with his responsibilities of managing the village and maintaining peace in the Shinobi world. This strained their relationship, and Boruto often felt frustrated with his father.
Here are 6 moments when Boruto was upset with Naruto because of his role as Hokage:
1. Exhaustion and Declining Dinner
While Boruto, Hinata, and Himawari were getting ready to have dinner, Naruto coincidentally managed to come home early as his work was finished. Hinata invited Naruto to join them for dinner, but due to his exhaustion, Naruto asked for permission to rest right away.
This made Boruto upset. In his opinion, his father’s refusal to have dinner showed that Naruto didn’t appreciate the meal Hinata had prepared.
