5. Sending a Shadow Clone to Himawari’s Birthday

On Himawari’s birthday, Naruto was already home and greeted Himawari, Hinata, and Boruto as they returned. Himawari was overjoyed to see her father present on her special day, especially when Naruto gave her a teddy bear as a gift. Boruto also felt happy because Naruto had kept his promise to attend Himawari’s birthday, forgiving his father for missing his own birthday.

After that, they gathered around the dining table filled with delicious dishes while waiting for Naruto to bring out the birthday cake. However, out of nowhere, the cake fell to the floor because the Naruto they saw was actually just a shadow clone, which suddenly vanished.

Realizing that the Naruto who attended Himawari’s birthday was merely a shadow clone, Boruto became furious with his father and grew even more disgusted with the Hokage title. Although Hinata tried to explain that Naruto was working hard for the well-being of Konoha’s citizens, to Boruto, his father’s job was nothing more than sitting in an office and acting like a boss—something he believed anyone could do.
