Bunshin no Jutsu and Kage Bunshin no Jutsu are essential skills in the world of shinobi, used to deceive enemies by creating duplicates of the user. These techniques force opponents to guess the user’s real body before launching an attack.

In the past, Bunshin no Jutsu was a mandatory jutsu that all academy students had to master to graduate and become Genin. Meanwhile, Kage Bunshin no Jutsu is a higher-level jutsu that is much more difficult to master.

Although both jutsu are used to create body doubles, there is a fundamental difference between them. Bunshin no Jutsu creates an illusionary shadow that cannot be touched or used in battle. In contrast, Kage Bunshin no Jutsu produces solid, tangible clones that can be touched and can fight just like the original user.

Speaking of Bunshin, there have been some interesting moments involving characters from the Naruto anime when they were asked to perform Bunshin no Jutsu or Kage Bunshin no Jutsu. Who were they? Check out the review below.

1. Obito Uchiha

When Kakashi and Obito were still academy students, they were both asked to perform the Bunshin no Jutsu. Kakashi successfully created three perfect clones and received a round of applause from the entire class for his impressive performance.

Meanwhile, Obito failed miserably. Instead of producing a proper clone, Obito’s jutsu resulted in something that didn’t resemble a human at all. His Bunshin looked like a smudged shadow, causing the entire class to burst into laughter.
