2. Gojo Satoru Borrowed Maki’s Knife and Never Returned It
When Gojo ordered Yuji and Nobara to exorcise a curse inside an old building, Yuji complained that he had not yet mastered Jujutsu techniques. He was worried because, in theory, curses can only be defeated using cursed energy. However, Gojo assured Yuji that his half-cursed body made him capable of handling the task.
Still, Gojo prohibited Yuji from using Sukuna’s power within him. Instead, Gojo handed him a cursed knife called “Demon Slayer,” which was imbued with cursed energy. Using the knife, Yuji successfully defeated the cursed spirit.
However, there was one big problem: the cursed knife that Gojo gave Yuji actually belonged to Maki.
During the meeting between the students of Tokyo and Kyoto Jujutsu High Schools, both schools held a strategy meeting before the cursed spirit combat test. Maki, a second-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High, found out that her cursed knife had been loaned by Gojo to Yuji. Maki then demanded that Yuji return the knife immediately.
Unfortunately, Yuji was too scared to admit that the knife had been damaged during its use. In his awkwardness, Yuji claimed that Gojo had taken the knife back. Upon hearing this, Maki became furious and called Gojo a “blindfolded idiot.”
Most likely, Yuji didn’t take good care of the cursed knife because he thought it was completely his after Gojo gave it to him. But in reality, the knife belonged to Maki. Pretty reckless, right, Gojo Satoru?
