3. Gojo Satoru and His Silly Surprise Idea
Yuji Itadori, a student of Jujutsu High Tokyo, was previously reported to have died during a mission. However, thanks to Sukuna’s power within his body, Yuji managed to survive. Despite this, Gojo Satoru decided to keep Yuji’s survival a secret for two whole months. During that time, Gojo trained Yuji to become stronger and promised to reveal Yuji’s return during the inter-school exchange event.
When the exchange event between Jujutsu High Tokyo and Kyoto took place, Yuji eagerly reminded Gojo of his promise. He was excited to return to school, reunite with his friends, and meet his seniors. However, Gojo believed that Yuji’s return should not be ordinary, especially since everyone had thought Yuji had been dead for two months.
Gojo then came up with a “brilliant” idea to reintroduce Yuji. He asked Yuji to follow his instructions, claiming that he would make Yuji the ultimate “surprise gift.” Gojo even promised that the first-year students would be shocked, overjoyed, and both laugh and cry at the same time.
He also mentioned that the second-year students from Tokyo and the Kyoto students would shed tears of joy upon seeing Yuji alive. Jokingly, Gojo added that someone might cry so hard that they would vomit, solving the issue of global warming in the process. That was Gojo’s absurd promise to Yuji.
When all the Jujutsu High students from Tokyo and Kyoto, along with the teachers, gathered, Gojo appeared with a cheerful expression, carrying a large suitcase. Casually, he claimed he had just returned from a business trip abroad and handed out protective charms from a certain tribe as souvenirs for the Kyoto students.
After that, Gojo presented the large suitcase as a “gift” for the Tokyo students. To everyone’s surprise, Yuji suddenly emerged from the suitcase with a bright smile on his face, while Gojo nonchalantly announced, “Here’s your friend, Yuji, who was supposed to be dead!”
However, the reality was far from what Yuji had expected. The Tokyo students showed indifferent reactions, with no signs of enthusiasm, while the Kyoto students seemed more interested in the protective charms that Gojo had handed out. Gojo’s surprise plan ended up being an awkward moment for Yuji.
