5. Gojo Satoru Changed the Jujutsu High Tournament Tradition
During the exchange event between Jujutsu High Tokyo and Kyoto, the principals of each institution, Yaga from Tokyo and Gakuganji from Kyoto, agreed on the type of competition that would take place over two days. On the first day, a group match was held, while the second day was usually reserved for individual battles.
Since both Jujutsu High Tokyo and Kyoto had completed the group match, the second day of the competition was supposed to continue with individual battles. However, Gojo Satoru, who openly disliked traditions, decided to change the event without seeking anyone’s permission. Instead of holding individual battles, Gojo replaced the second day with a baseball game.
Gojo’s antics naturally infuriated Yaga and Gakuganji. Both felt that Gojo’s actions were inappropriate, especially since the change was made without prior notice. Yet, as usual, Gojo simply smiled nonchalantly, enjoying the chaos he had caused.
