1. Duck Alliance Preparation

Mike was baffled as to why Emma still admired Auza despite knowing its corruption. Although Emma agreed with Mike that Auza was evil for creating ninja robots as weapons to eliminate those standing in the way of its grand plans, she explained that Auza possessed the most cutting-edge technology and extensive research funding. According to Emma, if Auza’s dark side was set aside, its technological advancements could benefit all of humanity.

Jason felt frustrated for not being involved in the creation of ninja robots during his time at Auza. Emma then announced her plan to the Duck Alliance. Emma and Higan would head to Auza’s active power plant to shut down its operations and steal the energy supply they needed. Emma also granted full access to her computer for the Duck Alliance.

Irritated when Mike teased her about dating Higan, Emma kicked Mike, causing him to fall in pain. Unbeknownst to the Duck Alliance, there was a tracking device attached to the back of Emma’s truck.

2. Conflict Between Master Yamaji & Joseph

Joseph held a virtual meeting with Master Yamaji via hologram. Joseph complained about Big D’s actions in letting Higan escape after destroying the reactor system. Yamaji defended Big D’s decision, calling it the right approach for confronting Higan without Gusoku Gear. Yamaji also emphasized that Big D had done well by obtaining the necessary data.

However, Joseph dismissed this viewpoint, deeming it irrelevant. He expressed dissatisfaction with Yamaji’s performance as the leader of the ninja, accusing him of failing to control his subordinates. Joseph demanded that Yamaji expedite their progress toward their shared goals, lamenting the losses he had suffered due to Big D’s blunder, which caused the advisory committee members to be wiped out.

Joseph then asserted that he was working to control the world and turn it into his personal playground. He claimed to have full control over humanity, nature, and all living beings. Joseph even threatened to eliminate Yamaji if he continued to obstruct his plans. Yamaji countered by stating that a ninja’s true purpose was to seek out and destroy the world’s most heinous individuals, such as Joseph. Yamaji also reminded Joseph not to lose sight of the greater purpose beyond his personal ambitions.

Annoyed by Yamaji’s threat, Joseph stood up and moved closer to Yamaji’s hologram, glaring at him. Joseph warned that if the next plan failed again, he would personally gut Big D. After Joseph’s holographic image disappeared, Yamaji murmured that Joseph was a foolish child who didn’t understand the difference between a ninja and a samurai.

Yamaji then took a sip of his tea and informed Zai, who was in another room, that the time was drawing near. In the other room, Zai was shown meditating while holding his sword.

3. Gusoku Gear Guide & Alliance Camaraderie

Emma taught Higan how to operate and maintain the Gusoku Gear. She explained that the Izuna circuit was the heart of the Gusoku Gear. Emma likened Izuna to a woman’s heart—very sensitive and fragile. Emma advised Higan not to treat the Gusoku Gear like riding a motorcycle, as that could upset Izuna. She even told Higan to treat Izuna like Marry to always keep it “happy.” However, Emma was surprised when Higan admitted that he often made Marry angry.

Higan then asked Emma not to interfere in his matters anymore and told her to hide in a safe place. Emma wondered why older men always try to act cool. Mike chimed in, saying that comrades are like family who care about each other’s safety. However, Emma decided to stick with Higan and help Mike. She also acknowledged Jason’s hacking abilities and believed they could work together, even though she found Jason’s personality a bit odd.

Jason then brought food and didn’t care about Emma’s opinion of him. The Duck Alliance was impressed by how skilled Jason was at cooking. Jason explained that he was following a tradition throughout gangster, mafia, and yakuza history of sharing meals together when forming alliances.

Mike complained that his portion was too small, but Jason retorted that Mike hadn’t contributed much. As they ate together, Emma became pensive, beginning to understand the meaning of family that Mike and Marry often emphasized.
