10. The Final Moments of Nanami Kento
Despite being in a half-dead state, Nanami continued walking toward the swarm of transfigured humans. He expressed his longing to live in Malaysia, build a house on the shores of Kuantan Beach, and spend his days relaxing while reading books. Even amidst the chaos, Nanami still worried about Megumi, who was battling Toji, as well as the condition of Naobito and Maki, who—like him—had suffered burns from Jogo’s attack.
Armed with his multi-layered blade, Nanami slashed through the hordes of transfigured humans. As he fought, he envisioned the life he had always dreamed of—walking along the Kuantan shoreline, dancing carefree, and rinsing his face with the refreshing seawater.
After defeating numerous transfigured humans, Mahito suddenly appeared behind Nanami and placed his palm on Nanami’s back. In that brief moment, Nanami reflected on his decision to leave the world of jujutsu in the past, only to return for what he considered a trivial reason.
Then, Nanami saw Haibara standing in front of him, pointing to the right. When he turned to look, he saw Yuji behind him. At that exact moment, Mahito detonated Nanami’s body right before Yuji’s eyes.
