4. Nanami Kento’s Abilities

Nanami possesses two binding vows. The first is revealing his technique to his opponent to increase its effectiveness. The second is releasing an immense amount of cursed energy when he exceeds his designated working hours.

Nanami wields a Cursed Technique known as Ratio Technique (7:3). By dividing the length of his opponent’s body into a precise 7:3 ratio, he can quickly identify and strike the weakest point within that division, resulting in devastating attacks. Nanami’s Cursed Technique is effective in identifying weak points not only in humans but also in cursed spirits and inanimate objects.

In battle, Nanami always relies on a blade wrapped in multiple layers of material. Whether facing a powerful enemy or not, his Cursed Technique remains destructive. For instance, when fighting Mahito, who attempted to block Nanami’s strikes with Cursed Energy, Mahito’s arm was still slashed. On the other hand, when Nanami fights weaker opponents, he can cut through them effortlessly, even with a blunt blade.

During his battle with Mahito, Nanami found a weak point in the structure of a building and delivered a powerful punch to the wall. This action spread his Cursed Energy throughout the structure, amplifying his Ratio Technique and embedding his energy into the building itself. As a result, Nanami severed Mahito’s leg, causing him to collapse. The building’s debris then accurately fell onto Mahito’s body.

Nanami doesn’t solely rely on his layered-wrapped blade—he is also capable of channeling his Ratio Technique into his bare fists.

Using his Ratio Technique, Nanami punched Shigemo’s face, sending him flying. Shigemo even admitted that he might have died if he hadn’t used his own Cursed Technique. Nanami then delivered a punch to Shigemo’s stomach, causing him to collapse. Finally, Nanami lifted Shigemo’s body and struck him in the face again, hurling him a great distance.
