5. Nanami Kento’s Work Hours Policy

As a former corporate worker, Nanami, who now serves as a Jujutsu Sorcerer, adheres to a strict work hours policy. He begins his duties at 10 a.m. and clocks out at 6 p.m., considering any work done outside these hours as overtime.

When investigating the death of three high school students caused by a cursed spirit at the movie theater, Nanami, who knew the location of the culprit, went straight to confront Mahito. Before their battle, Nanami expressed his desire to finish the fight quickly since he disliked working overtime.

After taking a short break from the fight against Mahito, Nanami checked his watch, which showed 6 p.m. Realizing that he would have to work overtime since he hadn’t yet defeated Mahito—whom he had encountered at 5 p.m.—Nanami released the cursed energy limit binding his body, significantly boosting his power.

In this overtime mode, Nanami’s strategic thinking sharpens as he plans efficient ways to defeat his enemy. Eventually, Nanami delivered a powerful punch to the building’s wall. With swift movements, he severed one of Mahito’s legs as Mahito attempted to dodge, causing him to collapse onto the floor.

Nanami then told Mahito that he was heading home and bid him farewell if they both survived. After that, the collapsing debris buried Mahito’s body.
