3. Itachi Infiltrates Konoha as a Warning Message

Since the Kyūbi incident in Konoha, Danzō accused the Uchiha Clan of orchestrating the attack by controlling the Kyūbi through their Sharingan ability. As a result of this accusation, the Uchiha Clan suffered discrimination and exclusion from Konoha’s citizens and government.

Feeling oppressed and treated unfairly, the Uchiha Clan began planning a coup to take over Konoha’s leadership. However, Itachi chose to betray his clan and accepted a mission to annihilate the entire Uchiha Clan.

Itachi believed that the conflict between the Uchiha Clan and Konoha would ignite the Fourth Shinobi World War, which could result in massive casualties. As a peace-loving individual who despised war, Itachi prioritized the safety and peace of Konoha above all else.

After the Uchiha Clan massacre, Itachi confronted Danzō and issued a stern warning. Itachi promised that he would monitor Danzō’s every move and even threatened to reveal Konoha’s top secrets to enemy nations if Danzō dared to harm Sasuke.

A few days after the Third Hokage Hiruzen’s funeral, Itachi and Kisame infiltrated Konoha once again. This time, Itachi’s visit had a purpose. He wanted to deliver a warning to Danzō and Konoha’s elite leaders.

His message was clear: as long as Itachi lived, he would keep a close watch on every action taken by Danzō, as well as the village elders Koharu and Homura, to ensure they didn’t take any steps that could endanger Sasuke.
