# Kakashi Mastered Susano’o After Being Challenged by Sasuke
This story begins when Sakura sets off alone to confront Sasuke with the intention of ending his life. Concerned for Sakura’s safety, Kakashi decides to follow her to Sasuke’s location.
After Sasuke defeats Danzo, Sakura finally encounters him and expresses her desire to join his group. However, Sasuke sets a condition: if Sakura wants to join, she must eliminate Karin, who was gravely injured by Sasuke’s Chidori during his fight with Danzo.
In reality, Sakura’s claim to join Sasuke was a lie. When she pretended to stab Karin with a kunai, her true intention was to attack Sasuke from behind while he was off guard. However, just as Sakura hesitated to strike Sasuke, he prepared to counterattack her from behind with a Chidori. Fortunately, Kakashi arrived just in time to block Sasuke’s Chidori and saved Sakura from danger.
This encounter was filled with emotion as it reunited the teacher and student who hadn’t seen each other in three years. Kakashi, as their former teacher, felt a moral obligation to stop Sasuke from causing more chaos in the Shinobi world. On the other hand, Sasuke no longer regarded Kakashi as his teacher.
Having a beloved student leave the village and being forced into battle against him made Kakashi understand how Hiruzen Sarutobi felt when he had to face Orochimaru. Meanwhile, Sasuke aimed to make Kakashi meet the same fate as Hiruzen.
Sasuke was infuriated by Kakashi’s use of the Sharingan in battle. For Sasuke, the Sharingan was an exclusive symbol of the Uchiha Clan, and he demanded that Kakashi stop using it. At the same time, Sasuke also belittled Kakashi’s Sharingan ability.
To prove his superiority, Sasuke displayed his Susano’o and boasted that his Sharingan was far more powerful than Kakashi’s. In a taunting tone, Sasuke asked whether Kakashi could activate Susano’o as he did.
Despite this, Sasuke praised Kakashi for his skill in wielding the Sharingan. Sasuke was even impressed when Kakashi successfully mastered the Mangekyo Sharingan and managed to absorb the arrow attack from his Susano’o.
However, the fight between Kakashi and Sasuke didn’t last long because Naruto arrived and took over the battle against Sasuke. Naruto and Sasuke clashed again, pitting Rasengan against Chidori. Shortly afterward, Tobi appeared to retrieve Sasuke.
During the Fourth Great Ninja War, the situation changed drastically when Madara was cornered by Naruto and Sasuke, who had grown incredibly strong after receiving power from the Sage of Six Paths. At that point, Madara, who only had one Rinnegan in his right eye, felt it was not enough to compete against Naruto and Sasuke’s might. He decided to steal Obito’s Rinnegan.
Madara took Kakashi’s Sharingan and used it to enter Obito’s dimension, where he retrieved the Rinnegan from Obito’s left eye. Afterward, Madara returned Kakashi’s Sharingan to Obito.
In the final phase of the Fourth Great Ninja War, Kakashi felt useless because he no longer had the Sharingan. He could only watch helplessly as Naruto and Sasuke battled Kaguya.
When Kaguya teleported them to a dimension with immense gravitational pull, she launched two rods aimed at Naruto and Sasuke, who struggled to move. Wanting to be of use, Kakashi prepared to sacrifice himself to protect Sasuke, while Obito shielded Naruto. However, the rod aimed at Kakashi was absorbed by Obito using Kamui, saving Kakashi at the cost of Obito’s life.
Upon entering the afterlife, Obito was welcomed by Rin, the woman he loved. However, Obito asked Rin to wait for him a little longer, as he wanted to help Kakashi before joining her. Based on the principle that chakra is energy connected to all living things, Obito, using the last of his life force, entered Kakashi’s subconscious and lent him both of his Sharingan.
With this newfound power, Kakashi was able to wield the Sharingan in both eyes simultaneously. He even summoned a perfect form of Susano’o. Kakashi’s Susano’o had a distinctive eye-shaped marking and the unique ability to turn Kamui into shuriken that could absorb anything they hit.
When Kakashi used Susano’o to save Sakura from the attack of Kaguya’s giant hand, which had failed to transform into the Ten-Tails, Sasuke couldn’t believe what he was seeing. Naruto reminded Sasuke of Kakashi’s prowess as the Copy Ninja. Naruto even commented that Kakashi’s Susano’o was cooler than Sasuke’s.
