2. Kawaki Learns Ninjutsu and Trains to Become a Shinobi

While Kawaki was helping Boruto train to control his Karma power, Naruto and Himawari accompanied them, watching the sparring match between Boruto and Kawaki. After the training session ended with a Reconciliation Seal, Ino suddenly reported to Naruto that an intruder was heading toward their location. The intruder turned out to be Delta, a member of Kara’s Inner circle.

Delta came to Konoha intending to bring Kawaki back to Kara’s headquarters. To thwart Delta’s plan, Naruto had to fight her while protecting Kawaki, Himawari, and Boruto.

At first, Naruto pretended to struggle against Delta’s abilities, which were enhanced by Ninja Scientific Tools implanted in her body. He hoped that Delta would reveal some information about Kara, but she didn’t. Eventually, Naruto fought seriously and managed to defeat Delta. Furious after being outplayed, Delta devised a devious plan to take down Naruto.

Delta used Himawari as bait by throwing her into the air, hoping Naruto would leap to save her. At that moment, Delta planned to fire her destructive laser at both Naruto and Himawari. However, although her plan went as expected, Naruto and Himawari still managed to survive.

This was because Kawaki also jumped into the air to block the destructive laser using the Ninja Scientific Tool in his arm. As a result, Kawaki’s right arm was destroyed, but his sacrifice saved both Naruto and Himawari.

In the end, Naruto defeated Delta by overloading her body as she attempted to absorb a continuous barrage of Ōdama Rasengan. Naruto finally took Delta down by landing a massive Ōdama Rasengan on her.

Due to his sacrifice to protect Naruto and Himawari from Delta’s laser attack, Kawaki’s arm was destroyed, and he had to be taken to Katasuke for treatment. However, Katasuke couldn’t regenerate Kawaki’s arm like Kara’s advanced technology. As a temporary solution, Kawaki had to use Naruto’s prosthetic arm.

The prosthetic arm was specifically designed for Naruto and wasn’t meant to be used by anyone else. However, since Naruto transferred his chakra into it, Kawaki was able to use it. Even so, the arm would automatically deactivate whenever Naruto fell asleep.

In preparation for future threats from Kara, Kawaki asked Naruto to teach him Ninjutsu. Naruto agreed, took Kawaki in as his student, and began training him to become a Shinobi. During their training, Naruto taught Kawaki how to fight using chakra.

Kawaki also learned how to throw shuriken and control his chakra to walk up trees. Eventually, Kawaki reached the stage of learning how to use the Kage Bunshin technique—a skill he had always wanted to master.
