2. Medical Personnel in Action

Similar to medical teams handling the coronavirus outbreak, Konoha’s medical staff were equipped with masks and protective gear. According to Tsunade’s observations, Naruto was believed to have contracted the Chakra Virus during a mission in a certain village.

Tsunade concluded that Naruto was the primary source of the virus’s spread. The Chakra Virus was proven to spread rapidly and had to be stopped immediately. If the virus spread further and infected the village’s population, Konohagakure would be in grave danger. Even worse, if the village was attacked by enemies during the outbreak, it could be easily destroyed.

For this reason, Tsunade ordered Shizune and the medical team to keep the outbreak confidential, especially from other nations. The villagers were not to know about it to prevent mass panic. Tsunade then instructed Shizune and the other shinobi to capture and isolate Naruto immediately.

The medical team led by Shizune was armed with special rifles equipped with syringes. These weapons were specially designed to subdue Naruto without causing any serious injury or resistance. Once Naruto was hit by the syringe, he would fall asleep, making it easier for the medical team to capture and isolate him.
