3. Sarada’s Chidori Destroys Boro’s Core, a Member of Inner Kara
In a fierce battle in another dimension, Team 7—consisting of Boruto, Mitsuki, Kawaki, and Sarada—faced off against Boro, a member of Inner Kara. While Kawaki, Mitsuki, and Boruto focused on launching a coordinated attack against Boro, Sarada was given a crucial task: to locate the core hidden inside Boro’s body. This was the key because any attack that damaged Boro’s body proved ineffective, as Boro continuously regenerated at an extraordinary rate.
The only way to defeat Boro was to destroy the core or modern ninja scientific tool implanted in his body by Amado. Without destroying the core, Boro’s regenerative ability would remain unstoppable, no matter how much chakra Team 7 had in reserve.
Thanks to her Sharingan, Sarada meticulously observed the internal movements within Boro’s body. She eventually noticed that Boro was relocating his core, evident from the unnatural shifts in his muscle movements. After pinpointing the core’s location, Sarada chose not to inform Kawaki, Mitsuki, and Boruto, fearing that Boro would move it again if he realized they had discovered its position.
Although Sarada was still in the process of mastering Chidori, she decided to use it in a real battle against Boro. When Boro was focused on attacking Boruto, Sarada seized the moment to strike with Chidori. Realizing Sarada’s plan, Boruto distracted Boro with a smoke bomb and Kieru Rasengan, successfully destroying one of Boro’s arms. Boruto then performed an aerial flip to clear the path for Sarada.
With courage and precision, Sarada launched her first-ever Chidori strike. The attack inflicted fatal damage to Boro’s body, and Sarada managed to extract the core from within him. Without hesitation, she crushed the core completely, causing Boro to lose his regenerative ability.
After returning to Konoha, Team 7 gathered at the hospital with Shikamaru, Sai, Naruto, and Sasuke to discuss the Kara organization. During the meeting, Boruto recounted the details of the battle against Boro, including how Sarada defeated him using Chidori. Sasuke was visibly surprised to learn that Sarada had already mastered Chidori, even though he hadn’t been able to fully guide her through the training.
Sarada’s bravery and skill in mastering Chidori during such a critical moment were truly commendable. It was solid proof that she was drawing closer to achieving her dream of becoming Hokage.
