4. Boruto’s Awful Drawing: Remon

The story begins when a woman named Remon arrives in Konoha Village, chased by several large men. In a panic, Remon runs recklessly and ends up falling down the stairs. Fortunately, Konohamaru catches her just in time and carries her away from her pursuers.

As a token of gratitude, Remon wants to repay Konohamaru and Boruto’s kindness. Boruto then invites her to eat at Thunder Burger. There, Boruto orders the latest menu item, an extra sour lemon burger, to share with Remon and Konohamaru. Boruto and Remon seem to enjoy the burger, but Konohamaru starts coughing because he dislikes the sour taste. Remon lends him her handkerchief to cover his mouth as he coughs.

Not long after, the large men—who turn out to be Remon’s guards—arrive and take her back to Daidai Village.

Since Boruto still has Remon’s handkerchief, he and Konohamaru visit Daidai Village to return it. However, their visit pulls them into trouble, as they face Soma, a monster that devours people’s memories. During the fight against Kankitsu, a figure controlled by Soma, Boruto’s memory is temporarily erased.

Some time later, Team 7 (Boruto, Mitsuki, and Sarada) visits Thunder Burger. Boruto finds it strange that he forgot to try the extra sour lemon burger, something unusual for him, given his love for burgers. Sarada is also puzzled, as Boruto never misses out on new menu items. After taking a bite of the burger, Boruto experiences déjà vu, as if he had eaten it before with someone.

To jog his memory, Boruto decides to draw the person he remembers—Remon—on paper. After finishing the drawing, he shows it to Mitsuki and Sarada and asks if they recognize the figure. However, instead of recognizing the person, Mitsuki and Sarada are shocked by how terrible Boruto’s drawing is.
