Blue Lock Episode 6 I’m Sorry

1. Lemon Leads Team Z’s Strategy Meeting

Lemon led Team Z’s strategy meeting to prepare for their match against Team W. Isagi pointed out that Team W had already suffered one defeat against Team V, and just like Team Z, their careers would end if they lost again.

Imamura added that Team W was stronger than Team X, who had previously defeated Team Z with a score of 5-1. Lemon explained that Team W had two key players: Wanima Keisuke and Wanima Junichi. Hearing this, Chigiri was taken aback and stared at the photo of the Wanima Brothers displayed on the projector screen.

Lemon elaborated that the Wanima Brothers excelled at one-two passing combinations. When they defeated Team X, which was bolstered by Barou, the Wanima Brothers managed to score four goals. Their perception of distance, precise timing for attacks, and accurate passes made their offensive play a formidable weapon, even if their opponents knew where the ball was going.

Lemon emphasized that the key to Team Z’s victory over Team W was to separate the Wanima Brothers so they couldn’t pass to each other. Raichi wondered why Lemon was the one leading the strategy meeting since it was usually Kuon’s role. Lemon responded that Kuon hadn’t finished his bath yet.

2. Kuon Wataru Sets Team Z’s Formation

Kuon finally joined the meeting, but he appeared sluggish after soaking in hot water for too long. Imamura laughed, saying that Kuon looked like he was about to faint, while Igaguri jokingly asked Kuon not to die, since playing with only 10 players would make it hard for Team Z to win.

After downing a glass of water, Kuon explained Team Z’s strategy against Team W. They would continue using the “My Turn to Be Striker” tactic. However, unlike the previous match, where they used a single striker rotating every 10 minutes, this time they would deploy three strikers at once and rotate every 30 minutes. Kuon believed this tactic would make Team Z shine like stars, and the team felt optimistic about securing a victory.

3. Team Z vs. Team W Match

When the match between Team Z and Team W began, the Wanima Brothers immediately showcased their impressive teamwork through skillful one-two passes, easily bypassing Team Z’s defense. Wanima Keisuke explained that their main weapon was eye contact during passes, making it nearly impossible for makeshift defenders like Team Z to understand their playstyle.

The Wanima Brothers then faced two of Team Z’s defenders: Isagi and Chigiri. They were shocked to see Chigiri, their former teammate who was once known as the “Glass-Legged Genius,” still playing soccer.

Keisuke told his brother Junichi that Chigiri was probably still clinging to memories of his glory days. While mocking Chigiri, the Wanima Brothers easily got past him with another one-two pass, advising him that his time as a soccer player was over.

Distracted by their taunting, Junichi didn’t notice Isagi closing in and was caught off guard when Isagi performed a clean tackle, causing Junichi to stumble. Isagi then advised Chigiri to ignore the Wanima Brothers’ taunts, saying that the past didn’t matter anymore.

Isagi revealed that, unlike Chigiri, who had accomplishments to be proud of, he had come to Blue Lock to change his life. For Isagi, regret and pain could only be healed by scoring goals.
