4. Emma Assembles Gusoku Gear for Higan

Higan was curious as to why Emma, who was assigned by the Organization to monitor him, was now helping him. Emma replied that she had her own personal mission and wouldn’t let Higan die. Emma warned Higan that if he fought against Elite Ninjas wearing Gusoku Gear, he would certainly perish. Even with his secret Jutsu, it was still impossible for Higan to match the power of the Gusoku Gear. However, Emma had prepared a special Gusoku Gear for Higan so that he could defeat the Ninja Robots.

While assembling the Gusoku Gear for Higan, Emma revealed that she was one of the developers of the Gusoku Gear at Auza. She explained that the Gusoku Gear was a highly advanced combat suit designed to synchronize with all Ninja techniques. Its design was based on 600 years of Ninja history combined with Auza’s cutting-edge technology. Emma assured Higan that the Gusoku Gear would become his new and ultimate body.

5. Higan’s Past Memories & Marry’s Philosophy

Higan fell asleep and dreamed about events from his past. It showed Marry bandaging Higan’s wounds. Marry then shared her life philosophy with Higan: “be as cold as fire and as hot as ice.” Higan protested, saying that the phrase was reversed. Marry explained to Higan that people often lose their calm when they get angry and lose their intensity when they’re overly cautious. However, by adhering to that philosophy, Higan would be able to control his emotions.

6. About Kamui Gusoku Gear

Emma complained about the output power of the Gusoku Gear, deeming it insufficient because it lacked a power reactor, which was the core of the suit. While staring at her own Gusoku Gear, Emma muttered that spare parts for her suit were only available at Auza’s headquarters. However, retrieving them from the Auza office would be akin to digging her own grave. Yet, mysteriously, Emma whispered that she had only one option left. Eventually, Emma managed to complete the reactor for Higan’s Gusoku Gear.

Emma then informed Higan that his Gusoku Gear was called “Kamui.” The operational mechanism of Kamui differed from other Gusoku Gears. Simply wearing it wouldn’t unlock its full potential. Kamui had to be synchronized with the user’s brain in order to operate according to the mental imagery formed in the user’s mind instantly. This allowed Kamui to have reaction speeds surpassing other Gusoku Gears. Consequently, the stronger Higan visualized his movements, the stronger and faster Kamui would respond, as it directly reacted to the user’s resolve and actions.
