7. Mike and Jason

Mike had just woken up from his sleep. Jason complained about Mike’s promise to protect him. Instead, Jason ended up taking care of Mike, who had been asleep for ten days. Jason also revealed that he had paid a hefty sum to a doctor he knew to treat all of Mike’s wounds. Mike glanced at his wallet lying on a table and realized that Jason had used up all his money to cover the medical expenses.

Afterward, Jason and Mike relaxed on a sofa. Jason informed Mike that they were staying in an unoccupied mansion owned by a wealthy individual who was rarely home. Mike was still struggling to get in touch with Emma. He told Jason that they needed to locate everyone on the Auza Company’s spy list. However, Jason asked Mike for a computer, as he could no longer access his lab computer at home. Mike then remembered that Emma’s car had a sophisticated computer, and he knew that the car was currently in the repair shop.

8. The Truth Behind the Massacre Incident & Kamui Synchronization Process Begins

Emma told Higan that she would synchronize the Kamui Gusoku Gear with his brain so that it could function immediately. Emma explained that the side effect of the synchronization would cause Higan to fall into a deep sleep, and he wouldn’t be able to wake up no matter what happened until the process was complete—even if his heart were pierced. Emma also warned him that if he died again, this time it would be for real.

Emma then revealed that she was the one who brought Higan back from the dead. While showing a Ninja helmet to Higan, Emma admitted that she had disguised herself as one of the Ninja Squad during the massacre at Higan’s home. She used a special Jutsu to inject a unique needle into Higan’s neck that froze all his body cells, causing him to enter a state of suspended death. However, since the Needle Technique had already been used, the entry point was now sealed and could no longer be utilized again.

Higan stood up and grabbed Emma, furious that she had chosen to save him even though he was willing to sacrifice his life as long as his wife and child could survive. Emma calmly tapped the screen on her wristwatch, initiating the Kamui Gusoku Gear synchronization process with Higan’s brain. As a result, Higan immediately collapsed and fell into a deep sleep.

9. Big D Trapped by Emma’s Trap & Lil Finds Emma

Through her computer screen, Emma monitored Big D and the Ninja Squad as they arrived at the wastewater facility. Big D fired a laser beam at an entrance door, but behind the door was a trap filled with explosives that detonated, injuring Big D and the Ninja Squad.

Emma felt relieved that Big D had fallen into her trap, but she panicked when Lil managed to locate her hideout. Lil informed Emma that she had been monitoring all traffic movement in Auza City and grew suspicious of a truck that kept moving non-stop, despite the fact that all city residents had been banned from driving during the search for Higan.
