10. Emma vs Lil

Emma glanced at her watch, which indicated that Higan’s synchronization process was only 10 percent complete. When Lil was about to unleash fire on the sleeping Higan, Emma quickly activated the autopilot control from her computer, causing the truck to fall and thwart Lil’s attack. Emma then challenged Lil to a fight, threatening to slice her in half. Lil admitted she was excited to battle someone who also wore Gusoku Gear.

The fight between Emma and Lil began with a Taijutsu duel. Lil dodged Emma’s kunai attack, grabbed Emma by the neck, slammed her to the ground, and tossed her aside. Emma then activated six virtual keyboards attached to the six arms on her back and initiated a hacking process. As a result, two trucks charged toward Lil, attempting to ram her, but Lil stopped them in their tracks. Lil then unleashed a burst of flames on a swarm of drones firing at her.

While airborne, Lil swiftly grabbed Emma and dragged her along the street. However, Emma skillfully evaded every punch Lil threw. After kicking Lil away, Emma ascended into the air, but Lil’s fire blast sent her crashing to the ground. Emma created multiple clones of herself, swarming Lil and managing to stab her in the back. However, Lil combined her electrical and fire abilities, launching an omnidirectional attack that obliterated all of Emma’s shadow clones.

Both Lil and Emma rushed to recharge their Gusoku Gear batteries. However, Lil’s shot destroyed Emma’s charger, causing her to collapse as her battery was drained. After recharging her own battery, Lil approached Emma and began beating her mercilessly before tossing her aside. Despite this, Emma fought to endure and buy time, as Higan’s synchronization process had reached 40 percent.

11. Kamui Gusoku Gear Synchronization Process Complete

While asleep, Higan heard a voice note from Emma recorded within his subconscious. Emma said that by the time Higan was listening to her message, she might already be dead. She explained that she saved Higan because Marry had once saved her life.

Emma confessed that she and Marry often met in secret. She also admitted that she had tried to save Higan’s family after hearing that the Ninja Boss had attacked his home. However, when Emma arrived, she found that Marry and Kyle were already dead. In the end, Emma could only save Higan as per Marry’s final request.

After Lil destroyed Emma’s helmet and engulfed her in flames, the synchronization process between Kamui Gusoku Gear and Higan’s brain was completed. The surrounding buildings suddenly lost power as the Kamui Gusoku Gear absorbed the electrical energy. Now clad in the Kamui Gusoku Gear, Higan was ready to fight. Meanwhile, Joseph, Dilly, Big D, and Master Yamaji were seen monitoring the situation, eagerly awaiting the showdown between Higan and Lil.
