1. Lil vs Higan

Lil was ecstatic to fight Higan. She wielded six swords—three in each hand—while Higan relied on only two swords. Lil attempted to slash all six swords simultaneously at Higan’s head, but Higan managed to grab both of Lil’s arms. He then kicked both of his feet into Lil’s stomach, sending her body flying far and crashing into concrete.

Lil pretended to be unconscious as Higan approached. As soon as Higan leaped into the air to avoid her fiery breath, Lil appeared behind him and attacked with her three swords. However, Higan was still able to parry the surprise assault. The battle between Higan and Lil was intense and evenly matched. Both of them expertly blocked each other’s strikes, and neither could land a successful hit.

Lil then fired dozens of missiles at Higan. Thanks to the Kamui Gusoku Gear, Higan managed to evade the missiles that trailed his every move at high speed. The more vividly Higan imagined his movements, the faster the Kamui Gusoku Gear responded and materialized them. Eventually, the missiles couldn’t keep up with Higan’s lightning-fast speed.

Lil unleashed a massive wave of fire toward Higan. Higan charged through the flames and pushed Lil’s body until she crashed into several buildings. As a result, Lil’s Gusoku Gear was completely destroyed, and Higan’s two swords pierced her body. Lil was powerless. She marveled at Higan’s prowess and admitted she was satisfied to have fought against a true Shinobi. Then, Lil bit down on a detonator in her teeth and hugged Higan, intending to die with him. However, Higan swiftly moved to avoid the massive explosion. In fact, Higan saved Lil because he didn’t want her to die so easily.

2. Higan Sends “Lil Crushed” Package to Auza & Master Yamaji’s Decision

The Auza meeting was attended by Big D, Dilly, Joseph, and Master Yamaji.

Dilly presented a package delivered to Auza’s headquarters that morning—it contained Lil’s crushed head. Joseph admitted he wanted to obtain data on Higan’s combat performance, amazed by how skillfully Higan handled the Gusoku Gear on his first trial run. Big D and Dilly called Joseph’s idea ridiculous, criticizing his suggestion to make Higan a high offer in exchange for negotiation.

Joseph then asked if Yamaji intended to avenge Lil’s death. Yamaji declared that the operation to eliminate Higan would be accelerated. Joseph was delighted by Yamaji’s decision.

Master Yamaji held a private meeting with Zai. Yamaji asked Zai if he still remembered the sight of the Japanese sky—where birds soared freely without needing a home, their eyes fixed only on the distant hills. Seemingly understanding Yamaji’s words, Zai knelt and assured Yamaji that he would follow him wherever he went. Yamaji then placed his hand on Zai’s shoulder and informed him that he would no longer hold him back. Yamaji gave Zai his blessing to finish off Higan.

3. Emma & Higan’s Conversation

Inside the truck, Emma told Higan that the elites wearing Gusoku Gear were considered the strongest in the organization. However, Higan’s defeat of Lil had shattered their reputation. Emma also reassured Higan not to worry about the organization’s retaliation. She knew they wouldn’t act until they discovered a sure way to eliminate Higan.

Emma then confessed that she was uncomfortable with Higan constantly staring at her. She firmly stated that she wouldn’t date a married man. However, Emma understood that Higan was simply too embarrassed to ask her a question and invited him to speak freely. Higan then asked about Emma’s relationship with Marry. Emma explained that Marry had saved her life. In fact, Emma was still alive today because of Marry’s kindness.
