1. Auza and Secretary of State Meeting

Joseph presented Auza’s reactor product to the Secretary of State. He claimed that his reactor could generate 2.2 million kilowatts of power per second, equivalent to 1.5 nuclear power plants. By using a new fuel type called *cubonium*, this reactor could produce unlimited heat through fusion reactions. As a result, the reactor was environmentally friendly and 80 percent cheaper than energy in other cities, such as Auza City. Joseph expressed his hope that the Department of Energy would support his product so that Auza could build more power plants.

However, the Secretary of State rejected his proposal, convinced that the Departments of Fisheries and Environmental Protection would also oppose Auza’s plans to build facilities along the coastline. The Secretary of State was stunned when Joseph showed his tablet screen, which displayed signatures from individuals the Secretary had considered opponents, revealing that they had signed the licensing documents and even become members of the Auza reactor advisory committee. Joseph admitted that he had influenced other department heads with money. He then handed the Secretary of State a document to sign.

2. Mike and Jason

Jason suddenly screamed hysterically in fear after Mike informed him that they were not only up against Auza but also the Ninjas. Not wanting to be blamed, Mike reminded Jason that he had already thrown himself into this mess by posting Auza’s secret plans on the dark web. Mike then advised Jason that if he was determined to take down Auza, he had to see it through. Mike also promised to ensure Jason’s safety. Jason then questioned Emma’s name, which he recognized from the Auza spy list. Mike remained silent in response.

3. Journey to the Auza Power Plant

Higan was driving a truck alongside Emma. Emma informed Higan that part of Master Yamaji’s plan was to allow Auza to exploit the organization’s strength. Emma revealed that Auza planned to monopolize the entire energy infrastructure in every country worldwide. As a former organization commander, Emma understood that the organization had become nothing more than Auza’s puppet and that Master Yamaji had lost his dignity as a Ninja. Therefore, Emma intended to use the intelligence she had gathered during her mission at Auza to assist Higan.

Higan and Emma were stuck in traffic due to an Auza patrol. Emma successfully hacked the A.I. security system and electromagnetic defenses, causing them to shut down. The officers were frustrated as the truck Higan was driving forced its way out of Auza City’s gate, but they were unable to deploy drone units because the system was down.

Afterward, Emma and Higan headed to the Auza power plant, which was still under construction. Based on information from her subordinate spies, Emma knew that a commander was scheduled to conduct an operational test to gauge the response of the Gusoku Gear at the site. Emma also planned to use the plant’s energy to enhance the power of the Kamui Gusoku Gear and steal several portable power tanks. Emma reminded Higan to control his emotions so that the Kamui Gusoku Gear could operate at its full potential.
