4. Joseph’s Meeting with the Defense Minister

Joseph and the Minister of Energy, Udin, held a meeting via video call on a projector screen.

Joseph explained that the explosion at the Auza Power Plant was the result of sabotage by individuals aware of the operational test activities. He added that the FBI had been deployed to track down the perpetrators. In response to Udin’s suggestion to visit the site for verification, Joseph firmly refused, fearing that the visit would lead to potential technology theft. Joseph believed that the test data he had sent to Udin was sufficient proof.

Udin then accused Joseph of forcing advisory committee members to accept bribes through coercion. Udin also criticized Joseph for failing to control public opinion amid the negative rumors surrounding Auza. Offended by being called a coward, Joseph angrily insisted that he was the one who had made the advisory committee’s dreams a reality.

After the video call ended, Dilly reprimanded Joseph for losing his temper. Joseph admitted his shortcomings and expressed his frustration with the advisory committee and himself. He then instructed Dilly to call Big D. However, the call was rejected, making Joseph even more furious. Dilly offered himself as a punching bag for Joseph’s anger, but Joseph instead told Dilly to take responsibility after work—claiming that he wanted to go for a walk.

5. Big D Takes Care of His Hair at the Salon

Dayat asked if it was okay for Big D to ignore Joseph’s call. Big D, while staring at the GPS screen showing Higan’s location, replied that he already knew what his boss wanted and what needed to be done. Big D then revealed his life philosophy: “Elegance is the key to happiness. Without elegance, life or battle has no meaning.” Dayat hoped that Joseph would understand Big D, but Big D was certain it was impossible.

Afterward, Big D was very pleased with Dayat’s haircut results. Then, Big D received a call from Auza, informing him that the maintenance of his Gusoku Gear was complete. Excited, Big D quickly got ready for his assignment.

6. Joseph Inspects Big D’s Gusoku Gear & Zai’s Progress

Joseph greeted Zai, who was walking toward the Auza Gusoku Gear room. Joseph told Zai that if he were Yamaji, Zai would already be allowed to deal with Higan directly. Zai entered the room and asked why Joseph had come. The researcher explained that this was Joseph’s first time inspecting the maintenance status of Big D’s Gusoku Gear. Zai then asked about the progress of his own Gusoku Gear. The researcher replied that Zai’s Gusoku Gear was at 92 percent completion.

7. Mike’s Request to Higan Regarding Emma

Mike approached Higan. They discussed Emma, admitting they were both surprised to learn that Emma was a Kunoichi. Mike asked Higan to protect Emma, but Higan stated that he wanted to focus on destroying Auza so that the ninjas under his command could be freed from their duties. Higan assigned Mike the task of guiding Emma after Auza’s destruction.

8. Emma & Jason Hack Auza’s Server

From inside the car, Emma and Jason attempted to hack Auza’s server. Their goal was to download reports stored in the main server, containing data on reactor operations.

The reports provided evidence that Auza had been supplying new weapons to interfere in foreign conflicts and included documents opposing American officials. Jason was shocked to discover that Auza’s main server used an independent satellite constellation—the very system he had designed, which led to his dismissal during its development.

Cursing Auza, Jason was determined to reclaim the satellite he had created. Emma was surprised to see Jason so fired up and concluded that his desire for revenge had become his motivation. After successfully obtaining data on all secret accounts within Auza’s banking network, Jason became even more motivated to unearth Auza’s scandals and expose them to the public. Jason was confident that this would cause all top officials and leaders in America, including the president, to have a heart attack.
