9. Flawless Teamwork: Emma & Mike Defeat the Military Forces

Big D arrived alone at the Duck Alliance’s location. He instructed Higan to immediately put on his Gusoku Gear. Then, Mike asked permission to borrow the advanced weapons inside Emma’s truck and ordered Emma to stay inside the vehicle. Higan and Big D prepared for battle. Higan decapitated two of Big D’s centipede robots that attacked him. Then, Higan managed to hold off the attacks from two centipede robots and Big D, who had fused with them and transformed into a massive drill machine.

Frustrated because their fight was interrupted, Big D grew annoyed as Joseph had sent a squad of soldiers to surround the Duck Alliance’s location. The soldiers began firing their rifles at the vehicle that Emma and Jason were in. Emma swiftly controlled three robots to shield her car so that Jason could continue hacking. After launching missiles at the soldiers, Mike struggled to dodge the continuous gunfire from their rifles.

Emma handed the hacking task entirely to Jason and instructed him to copy Auza’s data onto the hard drive. Emma then threw a fire extinguisher at three soldiers approaching Mike. She shot the extinguisher, creating a thick smoke explosion that obscured the soldiers’ vision. With lightning speed, Emma moved and shot them dead. As Emma approached Mike, he scolded her for disobeying orders. Meanwhile, Jason successfully breached Auza’s main server.

Mike collapsed after being hit by a sniper’s bullet from a nearby building. Emma panicked, thinking Mike was dead, but he survived thanks to his bulletproof vest. Mike even joked that Emma’s kick hurt more than the sniper’s bullet. Afterward, Mike and Emma coordinated their attacks, firing at the soldiers. Mike threw grenades randomly, and Emma followed up with kunai strikes that detonated the grenades, taking out the sniper.

After eliminating many soldiers, Emma was nearly killed when a soldier pointed a rifle at her head. Fortunately, Mike shot the soldier just in time, saving Emma.

10. Higan Defeats Big D

The battle between Higan and Big D resumed.

Higan deflected each laser shot from Big D and swatted away the attacks from Big D’s two centipede robots. Higan then modified his dual swords, each forming four blades that resembled windmill propellers. Big D managed to dodge the first windmill blade attack thrown by Higan. He also kicked away the second spinning sword, sending it flying. Big D then delivered a powerful kick that sent Higan tumbling.

Next, Big D kicked Higan in the head, causing him to stumble backward. However, Higan quickly evaded Big D’s follow-up kick and kicked his fallen windmill sword from the ground. The spinning blade soared through the air, and with precision, Higan kicked it again, impaling Big D’s body. Big D’s robotic helmet shattered, and he coughed up blood. Despite his severe injuries, Big D expressed his satisfaction, acknowledging the elegance of his final battle with Higan before taking his last breath.

11. The Tragic End of Big D

Emma rushed toward Big D, who was about to be executed by Higan. She denied Big D’s accusation that she had betrayed Auza. From the very beginning, Emma admitted that she had never considered herself loyal to Auza. Big D finally realized that his friendship with Emma had always been a lie. Big D’s Gusoku Gear emitted a bright light, and Big D became aware that Joseph had programmed an automatic self-destruction system in case he was defeated.

Out of respect for Higan’s victory, Big D sent his centipede robot to shield Higan’s body. Meanwhile, Emma tapped the screen on her wristwatch, commanding three robots to block Mike, who was approaching her. Big D’s Gusoku Gear exploded violently, creating a massive blaze. As a result, Big D was reduced to ashes, and Emma lay dying on the ground. Higan, Mike, and Jason, who had survived the explosion, rushed to Emma’s side.
